Job summary

La Vie en Rose in Burlington, Ontario, is seeking a part-time sales associate to help customers, build relationships, and drive store performance.

You’ll greet customers, explain products, assist in fitting rooms, and contribute to a welcoming shopping experience. Prior sales experience and a flexible schedule, including holidays, are preferred, with bilingual abilities a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in a retail environment.
• Love clothing that celebrates feel-good femininity (lingerie, swimwear, etc.).
• Listen to customers’ needs to provide the best service.
• Proactive and conscientious with a willingness to work holidays.
• Open to longer hours during busy periods and a career with new challenges.
• Functional bilingualism is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a warm welcome and assist in finding products.
• Explain product details, materials and features and suggest related items.
• Assist customers in fitting rooms and on the sales floor.
• Meet and try to exceed personal sales goals with training support.
• Open/close the store when needed and manage the floor in the absence of managers.
• Keep shelves tidy, prepare products on the sales floor, and ensure a memorable shopping experience.
• Process transactions at the cash register and follow head office policies.
• Support the team with other duties as required.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren’t there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.

Permanent, part time

HOURLY SALARY : 18,32$ - 18,75$
