About The Role
Opella Indonesia is looking for a results-driven
Key Account Manager to manage day-to-day operations and commercial negotiations with our key customers. This role is pivotal in driving business growth through strategic account management and strong collaboration across functions.
Job Summary
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of strategic customers. This role ensures customer satisfaction, drives revenue growth, and aligns internal resources to meet client needs. The KAM also plays a key role in planning and executing promotional strategies within budget, ensuring a healthy return on investment (ROI).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, supply chain, finance) to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
- Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for growth or improvement.
- Prepare and manage promotional strategies and budgets, ensuring activities are within allocated budgets and deliver healthy ROI.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform promotional planning and account strategy.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Qualifications
- Min 5 year experience in Key Account Management with a proven track record, additional experience in sales / commercial would be a plus point.
- Preferred background from FMCG, experience in consumer health is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and sales statistics to inform strategy.
- Experience in managing promotional budgets and evaluating ROI.
- Customer-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
- Actively speaks and communicates in English
