The Kettle Coordinator ensures the smooth running of the Kettle Campaign, maximizing donations and coordinating volunteers. A Kettle Coordinator recruits, trains, schedules, and monitors the work of volunteer bell ringers ensuring ample staff to meet location needs.
Reports to the Community and Family Services Supervisor or Corps Officer Responsible for his/her own time effort May demonstrate work methods to new employees or volunteers
The incumbent is involved in minor financial matters regularly, or on a relief basis, or has responsibility for the wise use of his/her own resources. He/She may be authorized to spend, disburse, or collect small amounts of cash. The incumbent has very little input into the annual budget.
The incumbent's work environment is typically in the Office, home office, Car and/or Malls/Stores. The incumbent will work under the following disagreeable conditions: Driving in winter and non-routine schedule. The incumbent is required to travel in and around Saskatoon. The incumbent works on-call and carries a cell phone. The above responsibilities must be performed in keeping with The Salvation Army's Mission, Vision and Values, in a professional manner, upholding our code of conduct.
The target hiring range for this position is $16.60 to $20.76 with a maximum of $24.90. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
