The Salvation Army Canada is seeking a temporary full-time Christmas Kettle Campaign Coordinator in York, ON, to oversee multiple kettle locations and staff in a structured recruitment and scheduling process. You will ensure secure donations, staff training, and effective site coverage to support community fundraising efforts.
Successful candidates will bring customer service experience, basic office skills, and a valid Ontario driver’s license.

Location: This role will take place at York Community Church, in the community of Mt. Dennis, York ON.
Position Purpose summary: The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign is part of a century old tradition to contribute towards building strong communities by helping TSA to give hope to other. The Christmas Kettle Coordinator position is a short-term contract position. The successful candidate is responsible for oversight of several Christmas Kettle locations in a given geographical zone area. Zone locations include shopping malls, grocery stores and retail outlets. They organize, direct, and supervise the work performed by Christmas Kettle Campaign Workers. They will also ensure adequate staffing is met prior to and during each shift.

Reports directly to Corps Officer. Direct reports: n/a. Workflow coordinator for Christmas Kettle Workers.
This is a temporary full time position based on 40 hours per week. Shifts may include days, afternoons, evenings, weekend shifts, and split shifts, Monday through Saturday. Applicable shifts include a ½ hour unpaid meal break. Flexibility in scheduling is required, as the hours may increase as per operational requirements. Work environment is typically in malls/stores Standing for long periods will be required and exposure to cold weather Required to wear appropriate Salvation Army identification. Local travel is associated with this position. Some high school coursework, completion of high school is an asset.
The target hiring range for this position is $18.50 to $23.13 with a maximum of $27.76. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
