Job summary

The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda Territory is seeking a Kettle Campaign Coordinator for a short-term contract in the North Vancouver area. You will oversee multiple kettle locations, organize staffing, and ensure secure handling of donations across campaign sites.

Responsibilities include directing volunteers, coordinating site scheduling, and maintaining donor relations, with a focus on community presence and accurate reporting.Weekly shifts at mall locations and local travel are required,

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related experience or working in customer service.
• Money handling experience is an asset.
• Experience in office administration.
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office setting with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Attend a day of training/orientation on The Salvation Army and the Christmas Kettle Campaign.
• Coordinate the schedule for kettle staff and volunteers and respond to emergencies.
• Oversee kettle operations including staffing, scheduling and support for staff/volunteers.
• Ensure secure handling of donations and timely submission of timesheets and mileage reports.
• Recruit kettle workers and develop positive relationships with kettle sites.
