Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of the Kettle Campaign in Saskatoon. You will recruit, train, and direct volunteers, schedule kettle locations daily, and maintain strong relations with community partners and sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries and pickups, recording volunteer information, and assisting in counting and depositing funds while working closely with the Divisional Public Relations Department.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School (an alternative level of education and experience may be acceptable).
• More than three months but less than one year of prior related experience.
• Experience in office administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, direct and work alongside volunteers.
• Schedule volunteers, ensuring all kettle locations are covered daily.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with kettle sites and address issues.
• Coordinate the schedule for kettle volunteers and respond to emergencies.
