Job summary

Coast Mountains School District 82 in Northwest British Columbia invites applications for a Temporary, full-time teaching position at Suwilaawks Community School, Terrace. The role includes Library, Resource, Prep-Physical Education, Prep-Applied Design Skill Technology, and Literacy teaching for 1.00 FTE from Oct 28, 2026 to Jun 30, 2027 or until the incumbent returns.

Applicants must hold a BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or be eligible) and have experience across grade levels.

Qualifications

• Requires BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate or eligibility.
• Experience teaching across grade levels; knowledge of revised BC Curriculum.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to develop and implement individualized learning plans for with academic, social and emotional learning difficulties.
