Job summary

Alberta Infrastructure is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of assigned K-12 capital projects in Calgary. You will coordinate internal teams, consultants, and contractors to meet scope, time, cost, and quality objectives while ensuring compliance with ministry standards and LEED guidelines.

You will develop ministerial briefings, manage design processes with stakeholders, and evaluate bids to award construction contracts, with a 36.25-hour work week in a permanent full-time role.

Qualifications

• University graduation in Architecture or Engineering.
• Equivalency: 1 year of education for 1 year of experience or vice versa.
• Construction Contract Administrator Certification or Project Management Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, execution, control, and closure of capital projects within scope, cost and schedule.
• Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Direct consultants to ensure quality control of deliverables and compliance with standards.
• Develop ministerial briefings and correspondence on project issues.
• Evaluate bids and determine award of construction contracts.
