Our client, a creative digital agency located in Kimberley, Northern Cape, is offering a Junior Web Developer Apprenticeship. You will be mentored by experienced developers, working on diverse projects for a range of clients. The role is based in our Kimberley office, providing an immersive and collaborative learning environment within the Northern Cape region. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of responsive websites and web applications.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
• Collaborate with designers and senior developers on project implementation.
• Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve code quality.
• Test and debug websites to ensure cross-browser compatibility and functionality.
• Learn and apply back-end development principles and technologies.
• Assist in managing content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
• Contribute to website performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging web development trends and technologies.
• Engage actively in all training sessions and mentorship activities.

Requirements

• A solid understanding of fundamental web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of at least one JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) is a plus.
