Job summary

Randstad Canada in Toronto is seeking a Junior UX Designer to craft user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile. You will apply user-centered methods to sketch, prototype, test, and refine designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams and product leads.

You’ll conduct end-to-end user research, facilitate design workshops, build responsive wireframes, and ensure alignment with established design systems and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Experience creating GUI designs as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
• Ability to lead UX projects and design workshops with stakeholders.
• Experience managing full-lifecycle user research from recruitment to synthesis.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, especially Figma and Canvas.
• Familiarity with design systems and service standards (Ontario Design System).

Responsibilities

• Create intuitive GUI designs for web and mobile across platforms.
• Lead end-to-end user research activities including interviews and surveys.
• Translate findings into sitemaps, flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Facilitate UX design workshops with business users and stakeholders.
• Ensure interfaces align with design systems and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and product leads.
• Iterate designs based on usability testing and feedback.
