Job summary

TD Bank Group is seeking a Software Engineer I for Development and Quality Engineering in Toronto. You will contribute to both application development and quality engineering, building and testing components, APIs, databases, and ETL processes in a fast-paced risk technology environment.

You will work with Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python, and participate in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and collaboration with multiple teams to meet regulatory and enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–3 years of software development, quality engineering, or combined experience.
• Solid understanding of programming, software design, database concepts, and software testing fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, unit test, and maintain application code and APIs.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests and test assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across SDLC.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and rapid feedback dashboards.
