Job summary

Plusgrade is seeking a Junior Software Developer for the Guest-facing Team in Montreal. You will design, build, and maintain full-stack features across our web applications, focusing on performance, accessibility, and conversion.

You will work from the database schema up to the user interface, contributing to live A/B testing and AI-enabled code quality improvements. You bring hands-on TypeScript skills with a modern front-end framework (React or Vue) and back-end capabilities in Python and SQL.

Job Description: Junior Software Developer, Guest-facing Team

What You’ll Be Doing

You will join the Guest-facing team to design, build, and maintain full-stack features across our web applications, working from the database schema up to the user interface. You will develop and optimize customer-facing upsell experiences with a focus on performance, accessibility, conversion, and live A/B testing. In your daily work, AI re-engineers how software gets built, where you will leverage AI agents to assist with code reviews, maintain testing suites, and accelerate shipping cycles. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and data peers to translate guest feedback directly into high-converting features.

You bring hands-on experience with TypeScript and a modern front-end framework like React or Vue, paired with back-end capabilities in Python and SQL. You have already demonstrated your ability to integrate AI tools and agents directly into your development workflow to write, review, and test code faster.
