Junior School Teacher – temporary
French Immersion, Career Education (Grades 8-9). The position involves teaching several subjects to the French Immersion class, including FRAL, PE, Careers, and Sciences Humaines or Science. Core French 8 and 9 blocks are also taught. Each morning starts with a 20‑minute advisory block with a smaller group of students.
A reasonable expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.
The starting annual salary for the full‑time Teacher ranges from $61,175 to $109,520, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
