Job summary

Quesnel School District #28 is seeking an Elementary Primary Teacher for Parkland Elementary School. This position involves teaching in a multi-grade classroom for grades 2, 3, and 4, starting September 1, 2026. The successful candidate will have a valid BC Teaching Certificate and prior experience at the Primary/Intermediate level.

The position offers a salary ranging from $64,901 to $116,190 annually based on qualifications and service length. A competitive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate and membership in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch.
Training Specialization
  • Elementary Education with specialization at the Primary/Intermediate level.
Related Teaching Experience
  • Recent successful experience teaching at the Primary/Intermediate level.
Reasonable Expectation
  • Based on the teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, the teacher will be able to perform duties successfully in collaboration with other professional staff.

Salary and Benefits

The annual salary for the full‑time teacher ranges from $64,901 to $116,190, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
