Job summary

Inter-Co Division 10 Inc. is hiring a Junior Sales Estimating Representative for our Richmond, BC office. You will prepare bids by reviewing drawings, specs, and project requirements, and source materials to keep bids competitive.

You will balance estimating tasks with proactive customer outreach, negotiate with customers, and help grow our construction supply business in North America.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Degree completed
• Knowledge of the construction industry is an asset
• Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle

This position will be responsible for:

• Quote jobs for General Contractors by reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirement to ensure complete and competitive bids
• Source products from various suppliers to obtain competitive material cost
• Follow up with customers on quotes and to negotiate contracts
• Call customers to conduct pre-bid calls, clarify project scopes and get on bidders lists
• Ability to balance time between estimating work and customer outreach
