Job summary

The Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement seeks a Junior Business Analyst to join a Toronto-based, onsite team. You will gather and document business and data requirements, model processes, and engage stakeholders through workshops and interviews.

You will work with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, MIRO, and Figma to define use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria, while aligning with OPS procurement and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience gathering, analysing, and documenting data, system and business requirements.
Experience with vision diagrams and swim lanes for business analysis.
Ability to define use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for IT solutions.
Experience with database analysis and SQL language.
Experience leading requirements workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps for requirements tracking and collaboration.
Understanding OPS procurement, regulatory compliance, and service delivery models.

Responsibilities

Provides a comprehensive range of I&T business analysis services for diverse clients.
Interacts with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business needs and requirements.
Prepares and advises on business analysis policies, processes, and standards.
