Job summary

Onni Group of Companies in Vancouver seeks a Junior Formwork Project Manager to help bring multifamily and commercial projects from planning to completion. You will develop schedules, monitor critical paths, and coordinate with Project Director and CapWest Forming leadership to keep projects on time and on budget.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in multifamily construction, strong knowledge of structural sequences, and a background in project management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of multifamily residential construction related experience.
• Understanding of the structural building sequence.
• Direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• Experience overseeing large high-rise and podium multifamily and commercial projects an asset.
• Certificate, University degree, or college diploma would be an asset.
• Project Management education an asset.

Responsibilities

• Developing, tracking, and maintaining project schedules.
• Reviewing critical path, and quickly adapting or accelerating projects to meet deadlines.
• Reporting, and updating Project Director and CapWest Forming leadership of project schedule.
• Oversee tendering process and contract administration.
• Overall planning and defining of project scope for all subcontractors, and employees as coordinated with the Project Director.
• Project resource and equipment allocation from internal and external resources.
• Project documentation, communication and reporting.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans if required.
• Ongoing troubleshooting and problem solving, including tracking of changes in drawings, internal change orders and back charges.
• Ensure project is built on budget, on schedule and on drawing specifications.

Salary
