Job summary

Onni is seeking a Junior Formwork Project Manager in Vancouver to drive project schedules, coordinate scope with subcontractors, and lead planning and execution under the Project Director. This role supports multifamily residential and commercial projects, requiring strong organization in a fast-paced environment.

Developing schedules, tracking critical paths, and ensuring on-budget delivery are core responsibilities, with opportunities for process development and leadership across CapWest

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of multifamily residential construction related experience.
• Understanding of the structural building sequence.
• Direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• Experience overseeing large high-rise and podium multifamily and commercial projects an asset.
• Certificate, University degree, or college diploma would be an asset.
• Project Management education an asset.

Responsibilities

• Developing, tracking, and maintaining project schedules
• Reviewing critical path, and quickly adapting or accelerating projects to meet deadlines
• Reporting, and updating Project Director and CapWest Forming leadership of project schedule
• Oversee tendering process and contract administration
• Overall planning and defining of project scope for all subcontractors, and employees as coordinated with the Project Director.
• Project resource and equipment allocation from internal and external resources.
• Project documentation, communication and reporting
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans if required
• Ongoing troubleshooting and problem solving, including tracking of changes in drawings, internal change orders and back charges.
• Ensure project is built on budget, on schedule and on drawing specifications
