Job summary

Onni is seeking a Project Manager in Vancouver to lead construction projects from inception to completion. You will manage schedules, coordinate resources, and oversee scope with subcontractors and internal teams.

The role requires a minimum 5 years in construction, direct project coordination experience, and familiarity with multi-family projects. An asset is PM education; a university degree or diploma helps. Onni offers strong benefits and career growth.

• Experience overseeing multi-family projects.
• Certificate, University degree, or college diploma would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, track, and maintain project schedules.
• Review critical path and adapt projects to meet deadlines.
• Report and update directors on project schedule.
• Complete tendering for contract awards.
• Plan scope with subcontractors and allocate resources.
• Manage project documentation, communication, and reporting.
• Conduct consultant meetings and assist budget development with senior team.
• Oversee changes, troubleshoot, and ensure budget adherence.
• Coordinate with Leasing to develop budgets and timelines for tenants.

What Will You Do?

Scheduling

• Developing, tracking, and maintaining project schedules
• Reviewing critical path, and quickly adapting or accelerating projects to meet deadlines
• Reporting, and updating directors of project schedule

Management and Leadership

• Complete the tendering process for contract awarding
• Assist in the overall planning and defining of project scope for all subcontractors and employees
• Project resource allocation from internal and external resources.
• Project documentation, communication, and reporting
• Conduct consultant meetings
• Cost estimating, and budget development in collaboration with senior team.

Quality Control

• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans if required
• Ongoing troubleshooting and problem solving
• Work with Sr. PM and help oversee project team including Project Coordinators and Superintendents
• Ensure the project is built on a budget, on schedule, and on drawing specifications.
• Work with the Leasing team to help develop budgets and timelines for potential tenants.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of construction-related experience in commercial or residential projects
