Job summary

BeachHead Inc. seeks a Junior Project Manager for Application Dev projects to support a major financial client in Toronto. You will assist with planning, tracking, and coordinating two parallel releases using Microsoft Project.

The role emphasizes proactive planning, clear stakeholder communication, RAID log maintenance, and risk reporting in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid Agile/Waterfall experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Project and project plan management.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of project dependencies and case tracking.
• Experience or familiarity with hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager and Project Managers with project planning and updates in Microsoft Project.
• Track progress, manage project dependencies, and maintain RAID logs.
• Attend daily project calls to identify issues, dependencies, and gaps.
• Follow up on assigned tasks with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate regularly with business stakeholders and project teams.
• Assist with project coordination across two parallel releases.
• Gather, analyse, and report on project status and risks.
• Support the management of project issues, risks, and action items.
• Assist in maintaining project documentation and deliverables.
