AGFA HealthCare's R&D Program Management Office (PMO) is seeking a Junior/Intermediate Program Manager who is knowledgeable and passionate about leading and guiding release (project) stakeholders to deliver releases in a timely, consistent, efficient, transparent, and controlled manner.

In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, PMO team members, and R&D management to ensure the successful delivery of releases based on prioritized business needs. The variety of audiences you'll work with will require the ideal candidate to be skilled in leadership, project management best practices, SAFE/Scrum framework, and possess strong communication abilities.

  • Establish project scope, deliverables, and estimated timelines.
  • Identify and address conflicts or roadblocks between release stakeholders.
  • Drive operational efficiencies in project execution.
  • Proactively track and communicate release progress to the release (project) control team and across the organization.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of Project Management best practices and the SAFE/Scrum framework at AGFA HealthCare.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in leading teams in a high-tech field toward defined goals, with proven experience applying project management methodologies.
  • Strong ability to unite teams and build consensus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with experience managing multiple complex projects concurrently.
  • Adaptable, with a proven ability to adjust to new challenges and priorities, and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Well-developed skills in influencing and motivating others to achieve objectives.
  • Knowledge of Quality and Regulatory standards in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent work experience.

Location:

  • Waterloo – Canada or Gent - Belgium
  • Travel – potentially internationally to other R&D centers.
