Job summary

BBA Consultants in Calgary, AB, Canada, is seeking a Junior Industrial Drafter to join our growing engineering team. You will draft electrical, instrumentation and process drawings and contribute to studies from early design to detailed engineering.

You’ll draft under supervision, develop skills with mentors, and help enhance internal drafting tools and libraries while applying BBA standards. Fluency in English is required; French/Spanish are assets.

Qualifications

• Drafting certificate or diploma from an accredited institution.
• 0–3 years of relevant drafting experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of Autodesk products and MS Office Suite.
• Experience with MicroStation and piping & instrument diagrams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and plot electrical, instrumentation and process drawings.
• Participate in developing dynamic block libraries and internal drafting tools.
• Apply company and client standards to create accurate drawings.
• Support engineering mandates through studies to detailed design.
