Job summary

Vention is hiring a Junior Integration Specialist in Montreal to support customers remotely and grow under guidance from Senior Specialists. You’ll learn the hardware, software, and robotics ecosystem while handling Tier 3-4 cases and contributing to deployments and documentation.

The role requires 0-2 years in automation, Python scripting, and comfort with Zendesk/Jira. Hybrid work and cross-functional collaboration help you build deep technical proficiency and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years in industrial automation or technical support.
• Experience with robot programming (Fanuc/UR) is a plus.
• Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to clients and teammates.
• Comfortable programming and troubleshooting (Python) across electrical, mechanical, and software layers.
• Willing to provide remote support during night-shift and weekends as needed.
• Fluent in English; French and Spanish are assets.
• Degree in Electrical/Mechatronics/Robotics or related engineering field.
• Familiarity with Zendesk and Jira is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3-4 technical support for the platform and ecosystem, resolving cases and escalating complex issues to Senior Integration Specialists.
• Be available to take remote support calls during night-shift and occasional weekend hours as backup coverage.
• Assist with technical deployments and investigations, remotely when required.
• Program and validate automation systems using MachineMotion, MachineLogic, and Python.
• Support integration and commissioning of robot applications (Fanuc/UR) including basic programming and safety configuration.
• Own incoming tickets in Zendesk and Jira, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly with clients.
• Contribute to documentation and FAQs to enable client self-service.
• Support user acceptance testing for new releases.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA to share field insights.
• Build technical depth under guidance of Senior Integration Specialists.
