Job summary

BluMetric Environmental Inc. in Ontario is seeking a junior hydrogeologist to join our multidisciplinary team.

You will plan, execute and manage hydrogeological and terrain analysis studies for land developers, waste facilities, and municipal clients, with opportunities to contribute to Phase I/II ESAs and site remediation. The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong report writing in English (French a plus), and the ability to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences or related field; master’s in hydrogeology asset.
• 2–5 years of hydrogeology, ESA and remediation project experience.
• Knowledge of Ontario environmental regulations related to waste management and water.
• Ability to travel locally and across Canada; valid driver’s license; bilingualism asset.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to meet hydrogeological project objectives.
• Develop and implement field programs including borings, wells, sampling and pumping tests.
• Ensure OH&S compliance and identify hazards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and analyze hydrogeological data and site models.
• Manage projects ranging from small to large.
• Draft and review technical reports in English; French is asset.
• Develop proposals and participate in local business development and client communication.
