BluMetric Environmental Inc. is seeking an intermediate hydrogeologist to plan, execute and manage hydrogeological and ESA studies in Ontario.
You will mentor staff, support proposals, budgets and project management, and contribute to business development with land planners, developers and municipal clients. The role involves fieldwork, data analysis, and report writing in English (French a plus); travel locally and across the country may be required.
BluMetric has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented and reliable intermediate hydrogeologist to complement our multidisciplinary team in Ontario. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and technical skills to plan, execute and manage hydrogeological and terrain analysis studies to support our clients, including land planners and developers (rural lot development for severances / subdivisions on private servicing D-5-5/D-5-4, PTTW applications, etc.), landfills and other commercial/industrial (e.g., pits and quarries) and municipal sector clients. The successful candidate will also take part in hydrogeological study peer reviews and will participate in multi-disciplinary teams conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and site remediation. They will be responsible for preparing proposals and budgets, project management, coordination of work teams, preparation and review of quality technical reports. Mentoring junior staff as well as engagement in business development activities will also be expected of the successful candidate. This is an existing vacancy within the organization.
