Qualifications

• Experience of 2-5 years in health and safety in construction or related field.
• Willingness to work in remote locations and on rotation shifts.
• Familiarity with BCCSA’s C.O.R. program and auditing processes.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining safety records and monitoring compliance.
• Review safety documentation and provide feedback.
• Support safety planning and deliver worker orientations.
• Participate in safety training sessions and toolbox talks.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct site inspections hazard assessments and incident investigations.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience : 25 years or educational background in health and safety ideally in construction or a related field.
• Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Tech Savvy : Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook).
• Flexibility : Willingness to work in remote locations and on rotation shifts.
• Certification : Occupational First Aid Level 3 certification or willingness to obtain.
• Preferred : CSO NCSO or RCSO certification.
