About the role:

Reporting to the Customer Quality Manager, the Customer Quality Specialist is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and providing an exceptional customer experience. The Customer Quality Specialist will work with internal teams to deliver top notch service by managing in-region client accounts in a timely and professional manner.

The role includes the following broad areas of responsibility:

  • Customer onboarding following new PhotonAssayTM unit deployment and ongoing support
  • Act as the primary point of contact by managing communication and problem solving to ensure excellent service and satisfactory resolution of issues or concerns
  • Ownership of the in-region customer meetings
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and procedures within the customer quality group.

What you will do:

  • Participate in new unit deployments by coordinating the client onboarding process for a seamless customer experience
  • Proactively engage with customers to assess client needs and resource gaps
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve customer inquiries in an efficient and timely manner
  • Schedule, plan and host customer meetings including agenda creation, action items, summary reports and follow-up
  • Provide training support to customers related to PhotonAssay unit operation and platforms to maximize the value of the service
  • Develop and implement customer quality processes to ensure a successful client experience
  • Prepare documentation, technical reports, publications, and presentations as required
  • Manage relationships resulting in delighted customers
  • Share customer feedback with internal teams for product and process improvement
  • Provide regular updates to management on account status and growth opportunities
  • Contribute to a culture that values collaboration, technical excellence and on-going staff learning and development.
  • Support the development of a strong OH&S culture.

Who you are:

  • A tertiary qualification in an engineering or science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in customer service, quality control or laboratory roles in minerals or other analytical laboratory environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of technical documentation and manuals.
  • Proven stakeholder relations management experience
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Able and willing to travel and work across North Americas & internationally.
  • Relevant experience in an analytical laboratory management system and ISO/IEC 17025.
