Job summary

Onni is seeking a Project Manager in Vancouver to lead construction projects from inception to completion. You will develop and manage project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure work proceeds on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction-related experience in commercial or residential projects.
• Direct work experience in a project coordination capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• Experience overseeing multi-family projects.
• Certificate, University degree, or college diploma would be an asset.
• Project Management education is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Developing, tracking, and maintaining project schedules
• Reviewing critical path, and quickly adapting or accelerating projects to meet deadlines
• Reporting, and updating directors of project schedule
• Complete the tendering process for contract awarding
• Assist in the overall planning and defining of project scope for all subcontractors and employees
• Project resource allocation from internal and external resources
• Project documentation, communication, and reporting
• Conduct consultant meetings
• Cost estimating, and budget development in collaboration with senior team
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans if required
• Ongoing troubleshooting and problem solving
• Work with Sr. PM and help oversee project team including Project Coordinators and Superintendents
• Ensure the project is built on a budget, on schedule, and on drawing specifications
• Work with the Leasing team to help develop budgets and timelines for potential tenants
