Lac La Ronge Indian Band Health Services is seeking a dedicated Junior Finance Officer to provide specialized administration, accounting and financial services. You will handle accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledgers in a fast-paced program environment.
The role requires processing payroll, month-end and year-end cycles, and preparing statements and reports in accordance with GAAP, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

The Junior Finance Officer will be responsible for the provision of specialized administration, accounting and financial services for LLRIB Health Services.

The Junior Finance Officer will process transactions for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledgers. They will also facilitate financial reporting and analysis in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. They will perform and maintain month end and year end Accounting Cycles and financial records to ensure accountability of all expenditures and revenues.
Diploma in Business Administration or related field, 3 years’ experience preferred. Knowledge of ACCPAC Software is an asset; Must be able & willing to train on the job. Clear understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Excellent Computer and Communication Skills; Certified First Aide & CPR required or willing to obtain; Experience working with First Nations Communities is an asset; Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
