Job summary

OERP Canada is hiring a Junior ERP Functional Consultant to join our Toronto team. You will work onsite, helping clients implement and optimize Odoo ERP systems while collaborating with experienced professionals.

This role offers hands-on learning, opportunities for growth, and direct impact on clients’ operations. You will engage with customers to gather requirements, design solutions, and support end-users throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Diploma/degree in Business, IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent knowledge and minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 2 years in IT systems; proven IT system implementation.
At least 1 year of hands-on functional experience with Odoo ERP and related troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to review current operations and pain points.
Gather requirements and translate into Odoo solutions.
Map business processes to Odoo standard functionality and optimize where possible.
Design, document, and test new Odoo solutions; assist with full lifecycle implementations and upgrades.
Provide training and support to end-users; contribute to pre-sales activities when needed.

As a Junior ERP Functional Consultant, you will be at the intersection of software and business, gaining invaluable experience by working directly with clients to understand their unique operational challenges. Key Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Client Engagement & Business Analysis
- Collaborate closely with customers to review, analyze, and evaluate their current business operations and pain points.
- Conduct in-depth requirements gathering sessions to understand client needs and translate them into effective Odoo solutions.
- Map complex business processes into Odoo's standard functionality, identifying opportunities for optimization.
Solution Design & Implementation
- Design, document, and test new solutions or improve existing Odoo functionalities to meet client specifications.
- Assist with the full lifecycle of Odoo system implementations, from initial setup to go‑live.
- Support Odoo system upgrades, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption for clients.
Project Management & Support
- Manage and contribute to Odoo continuous improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with client expectations.
- Provide essential support and comprehensive training to end‑users, empowering them to effectively utilize Odoo.
- Assist with complex Odoo troubleshooting and issue resolution to maintain system stability and performance.
Documentation & Reporting
- Create and provide detailed reports as required, offering insights into system performance and client operations.
- Develop, update, and maintain business forms and documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Pre‑sales Activities
- Contribute to pre‑sales activities, assisting with demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.

Qualifications & Skills

What You’ll Bring

Minimum Requirements

Educations

Diploma/degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, and/or a minimum of 3 years of relevant job experience.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of related experience in information technology systems.
Proven experience with IT system implementation.
At least 1 year of hands‑on functional experience and knowledge of Odoo ERP.
Experience in complex Odoo troubleshooting.
Demonstrated project management experience.
Familiarity with manufacturing, warehouse operations, and related business processes.
