Job summary

CarbonRun is seeking a Junior Data Analyst intern to support the Science team from January to April 2027 (approximately 14 weeks) in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The role focuses on data collection, cleaning, and analysis of water quality and carbon cycling data.

You will apply advanced Excel, and code in R and Python, with geospatial analysis in ArcGIS, to help identify project sites and verify protocols.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student eligible for winter co-op placement.
• Strong advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency in R and Python for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Data collection and validation of datasets from internal and external sources.
• Synthesize and analyze environmental datasets and present findings to the Science team.
• Support development and verification of protocols for carbon removal projects.
