Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a motivated Communications Advisor for a temporary 18-month assignment in Canada. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and executing internal and external communications, including newsletters, intranet management, and event support.

You will work closely with the Communications team to deliver clear, engaging content across English and French channels, supporting a range of projects and templates.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in communications or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
• Experience with newsletters, intranet platforms, email tools, or content management systems is an asset.
• Experience preparing presentations and communication materials is an asset.
• Strong writing skills and ability to turn ideas into clear messages.
• Fluent in English and French; able to work in a bilingual environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the weekly newsletter and intranet content management.
• Coordinate corporate emails from content gathering to distribution and approvals.
• Maintain communications calendar, deadlines and approvals across the organization.
• Develop and refine communications templates, tools and best practices across channels.
• Coordinate translations to French, English, Spanish and German, ensuring timely delivery.
• Prepare presentations, briefing materials, and talking points for various initiatives.
• Support internal and external events planning and coordination.
• Provide day-to-day coordination across communications projects with partners.
