Job summary

CenterLine Windsor Limited is seeking a self‑motivated CNC Boring Mill Operator to set up, program, operate and monitor horizontal/vertical boring mills, machining large plates, weldments and structural frames to engineering specs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, can read blueprints, interpret drawings, and follow instructions in a lean manufacturing environment; benefits include a company pension, health plan and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Experience in setting up and running CNC programs in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, operate, and monitor horizontal and vertical CNC boring mills.
• Machine complex components to engineering specifications.
• Verify dimensions with precision measuring instruments.
• Report deviations and malfunctions to supervisor.

CenterLine Windsor Limited is looking for a self‑motivated, reliable individual to fill the position of CNC Boring Mill Operator responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and monitoring horizontal/vertical CNC boring mills to machine, complex, and precision components such as large plates, weldments, and structural frames to engineering specifications.

What we’re looking for

• Study and interpret drawings, specifications, to determine dimensions and tolerances of operations and setup requirements.
• Set up, program, operate, and maintain a variety of horizontal / vertical CNC boring mills.
• Report equipment malfunctions and detect machined parts out of tolerance. Adjust machine accordingly, within the employee’s capabilities.
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor.

Wage Range: $24.00-$34.00 hourly
