Job summary

ThoughtStorm in Toronto is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support an EHR Onboarding and Digital Health Service Access workstream for a healthcare organization in Toronto.

The role requires experience in business analysis, onboarding, validation, and process coordination, with strong PHIPA knowledge and stakeholder communication. You will review requirements, map processes, and help produce briefing notes and reports, while supporting onboarding activities for digital health services.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting business analysis, onboarding, intake, validation, or operational activities.
• Strong understanding of PHIPA principles including consent, collection, use, disclosure, and safeguards of PHI.
• Understanding of Health Information Custodians (HICs) and Agents under PHIPA.
• Knowledge of the Ontario healthcare sector and digital health processes.
• Experience with requirements gathering, information validation, analysis, and process coordination.
• Ability to review, categorize, map, and validate information against defined rules.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with follow-up across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience creating business documentation, presentations, briefing notes, reports, and process documentation.
• Analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in digital health onboarding, EHR access, Provincial Clinical Viewer, or related Ontario Health services is highly desirable; public sector experience is preferred.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including follow-ups with multiple stakeholders and supporting onboarding activities.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience in digital health onboarding, EHR access, Provincial Clinical Viewer, or related Ontario Health/digital health services is highly desirable; public sector experience is preferred.
