Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Junior Automotive Designer in Windsor, Ontario, to support design and development of automotive components from concept through production. You will create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings, and assist with design reviews, changes, and documentation.

This role welcomes a recent graduate with co‑op/internship exposure to CAD and mechanical design, and familiarity with CATIA, NX or SolidWorks, plus GD&T fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with 0–2 years of engineering/design experience.
• Hands‑on CAD experience from projects or internships.
• Knowledge of CATIA, NX or SolidWorks and basic GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of automotive components from concept through production.
• Create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings.
• Assist with design reviews, engineering changes, and documentation.
• Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and vehicle integration activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Assist in identifying and resolving design and vehicle issues.
• Maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and BOMs.
• Apply GD&T, engineering standards, and design best practices.
