Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA in Michigan is seeking a Junior Automotive Designer to join our engineering team. The role focuses on supporting the design and development of automotive components from concept through production.

The ideal candidate is a recent engineering graduate with automotive co-op or internship experience and hands-on CAD and mechanical design exposure from academic projects or prior work, ready to contribute to vehicle integration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of automotive components from concept through production.
• Create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings.
• Assist with design reviews, engineering changes, and documentation.
• Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and vehicle integration activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Assist in identifying and resolving design and vehicle-related issues.
• Maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and BOMs.
• Apply GD&T, engineering standards, and design best practices.

This position requires eligibility for a TN visa (i.e., Canadian citizenship) because it is located in Auburn Hills, MI.

We are seeking a Junior Automotive Designer to support the design and development of automotive components and systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Engineering graduate with automotive co‑op/internship experience and hands‑on exposure to CAD and mechanical design through academic projects or previous experience.
