Job summary

CIMA+ in Mississauga is seeking a Junior Architectural Designer / Technologist to join the Buildings Group (C2 Architecture Inc) in a hybrid work model. You will develop skills by working with experienced professionals on transit, municipal, provincial, and federal projects.

You’ll collaborate on conceptual designs, construction documents, and presentations, while growing architectural knowledge and contributing to high-quality project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or 1+ year of relevant architectural drafting experience.
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Desire to learn and grow within the architectural field.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the project team to prepare conceptual designs and construction documents.
  • Assist in integrating multi-disciplinary input into the design process.
  • Support presentation materials and renderings for client consultations.
  • Participate in professional development to expand architectural knowledge.
  • Assist with design development and reviews for ongoing projects.

We are seeking a Junior Architectural Designer / Technologist to join our Architectural team within theBuildings Group (C2 Architecture Inc) in ourMississauga office, in a hybrid work model.

As an junior Architectural Designer / Technologist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and grow your career in a collaborative, team-based environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to a wide range of transit projects both municipal, provincial and federal.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project team to prepare conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and construction documents for a variety of projects.
  • Assist in integrating multi-disciplinary input into the design process, including working with specialists in areas such as traffic engineering, transportation safety, and geotechnicalengineering.
  • Support the preparation of presentation materials and renderings for client and public consultations.
  • Participate in internal and external professional development opportunities to continue building architectural knowledge and skills.
  • Assist with design development and reviews for ongoing projects.
Qualifications
  • Recent Graduate and/or 1+yearof relevant experience in architectural drafting and design related projects.
  • Experience with architectural design and drafting software, such asRevit,AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the architectural field.
