ITEc Group is seeking a Junior Applications Engineer to develop engineering solutions for industrial equipment and engineered solutions. You will collaborate with customers, engineering teams, and operations to address technical requirements and deliver tailored proposals.

The role emphasizes learning technical software, interpreting drawings, and performing sizing and calculations in a heavy industrial context. You will gain practical experience across technical and commercial functions.

Formación

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn technical software and engineering tools.
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to collaborate across technical and commercial teams.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with reviewing customer requirements, technical specifications, and project documentation to develop appropriate engineering solutions.
• Support the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, equipment selections, and application recommendations.
• Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Operations to ensure customer requirements are understood and addressed.
• Interpret engineering drawings, technical data, and equipment specifications to support application development.
• Assist with equipment sizing, technical calculations, and selection of components or systems based on project requirements.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and provide application support.
• Support project handovers by ensuring technical details, specifications, and customer expectations are clearly documented.
• Develop product knowledge and stay current with industry standards and equipment technologies.

Daily responsibilities

Mandatory Requirements

• Previous experience in an applications engineering, engineering support, technical sales, or related role is considered an asset.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn technical software and engineering tools.
• A customer-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and commercial teams.
• Experience in heavy industrial, mining, material handling, or related industrial equipment environments is considered a strong asset.

Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000
