Job summary

Altis Technology in Brampton, ON, is seeking an Application Engineering Specialist to interpret technical requirements, propose product solutions, and prepare quotations. This on-site role has the opportunity to transition to one remote day per week after training.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales while building expertise across a diverse product portfolio. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in application engineering, technical inside sales, or a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience interacting with customers, interpreting technical specifications, selecting equipment, and preparing technical quotations
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and determine the technical and commercial requirements for each application.
• Prepare accurate quotations and cost models while recommending standard or customized product solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Provide technical guidance to the Sales team and support customer discussions directly as expertise grows.
• Participate in contract review meetings and communicate engineering requirements for production and manufacturing.

As an Application Engineering Specialist, you'll support customers by interpreting technical requirements, recommending product solutions, preparing quotations, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality service.
