Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking a Jr Installer/Technician in Toronto, Ontario. You will learn to professionally install HVAC equipment and accessories, follow manufacturer specifications and local codes, and ensure safe operation while instructing customers on care.

Qualifications

• Must have Gas Technician G3 license.
• Must have a valid Class G driver’s license.
• Grade 12 diploma required.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment and accessories per specs and codes.
• Ensure safe operation of installations and instruct customers on care.
• Work in service, water heater installation, or related roles in field or warehouse.
• Build positive relationships with customers and promote company products.
• Communicate and solve problems to ensure customer satisfaction.

What will you do?

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
• Responsible to professionally install HVAC equipment and accessory items in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance.
• Be flexible to work in service, water heater installation, and or assistance roles/duties, in the field or in the warehouse, in assigned areas and surrounding areas as assigned.
• Responsible for being willing to learn and grow as part of a progressive customer service oriented team and be flexible to the work assigned in the spirit of this multi- functional role.
• Responsible for creating a positive relationship with customers, offering for sale other company products and services.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate and problem solve to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Must have Gas Technician ‘3’ (G3) license, Gas Technician ‘2’ (G2) license preferred.
• Must have a valid class G driver’s license.
