Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking a Jr Installer/Technician to join our team in Ontario. You will install HVAC equipment, ensure safe operation, and educate customers on maintenance while supporting various roles in the field or warehouse.

We value growth-minded individuals with a G3 license, a valid G driver’s license, and strong communication skills who can lift up to 75 lbs and work collaboratively with customers to promote our services.

Qualifications

• Dependable and ambitious individual looking to grow with Reliance.
• Gas Technician G3 license required; G2 preferred.
• Valid class G driver’s license and grade 12 diploma.
• Strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Professionally install HVAC equipment and accessories per manufacturer specs and local codes.
• Ensure safe operation of new installations and instruct customers on maintenance.
• Support service, water heater installation, or warehouse tasks as needed.
• Build positive relationships with customers and promote additional Reliance products/services.
• Demonstrate effective communication and problem solving to ensure satisfaction.

What will you do?

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
• Responsible to professionally install HVAC equipment and accessory items in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance.
• Be flexible to work in service, water heater installation, and or assistance roles/duties, in the field or in the warehouse, in assigned areas and surrounding areas as assigned.
• Responsible for being willing to learn and grow as part of a progressive customer service oriented team and be flexible to the work assigned in the spirit of this multi- functional role.
• Responsible for creating a positive relationship with customers, offering for sale other company products and services.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate and problem solve to ensure customer satisfaction.
