Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting a Journeyperson Pipefitter to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for a permanent position on their maintenance team. This is a day shift on a 7 on/7 off rotation.

Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary. Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson certification or Interprovincial Red Seal required.
• Pre-Access drug and alcohol test must be completed.
• CSSTS 09 or CSO certification required.
• Confined Space certification or training.
• Fall protection training confirmed.
• Basic rigging knowledge and ability to rig safely.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
