Job summary

Mosaic is seeking a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic in Esterhazy, SK. The role pays $63.56/hour under the local CBA with a 5/5/4 or 9/80 schedule and onsite work.

You will inspect, repair, and maintain plant equipment, read drawings, and follow safety procedures in a demanding industrial setting. Requirements include a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic Certificate, tool knowledge, ability to diagnose issues, and successful pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic Certificate.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools, cutting, welding, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to identify mechanical issues and perform corrective actions.
• Successful completion of pre-employment criminal, drug, and alcohol testing.
• Authorization to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot, dismantle, and reassemble plant equipment.
• Operate mobile equipment, including cranes.
• Repair and maintain plumbing systems.
• Read and interpret drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Use precision maintenance tools and test repaired equipment.
• Complete required training and certifications.
• Work safely at heights and in industrial environments.
• Follow environmental, health, safety, and company requirements.
• Complete reports and follow written and verbal instructions.
