PTW Energy Services is seeking a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician to join our team on upcoming industrial projects in Western Canada. This role follows a 4 days on, 3 days off schedule with 10-hour shifts (8 regular hours + 2 overtime hours).

Starting Sept 21, 2026 and ending Oct 30, 2026, you will assist Journeyman Electricians, read drawings, install motors and control wiring, and uphold safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Indentured 3rd or 4th year Electrical Apprentice with provincial regulatory body.
• Familiar with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
• Fall Protection, Standard First Aid, CSTS 2020 & ESTS.
• Able to read electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Strong safety focus and good communication skills.
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation of industrial electrical systems.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical codes.
• Install motors, PLCs, control circuits, conduit, wiring, and panels.
• Support three-phase systems and motor terminations.
• Follow Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), company procedures, and OHS safety standards.
• Other duties as required.
