Job summary

MSCP Heat Management Solutions in the Edmonton area is hiring Journeyperson Electricians for a long-term project at a Strathcona refinery. Local to Edmonton, you will install control panels, field devices, RTDs, sensors, and wiring, with travel across Alberta as needed.

The role requires Electrical Journeyman Certificate and a valid driver's license; familiarity with Procore is a plus. Benefits after 3 months include dental, extended health, and vision; schedule is Monday to Friday, 8.4 hours

Qualifications

• Electrical Journeyman Certificate is required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with Procore or digital construction management software is a plus.
• Industrial experience is an asset.
• Willingness to travel throughout Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Install industrial control panels and field devices.
• Terminate power, control, and communication wiring.
• Install RTDs, temperature sensors, and instrumentation.
• Install cable tray, conduit, and supports.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Work with Field Engineers and Project Management to deliver quality installations.

Responsibilities

• Requires commitment to Monday-Friday (8.4 hours per day) schedule for long term project at a Strathcona refinery.
• Install industrial control panels and field devices
• Install RTDs, temperature sensors, and instrumentation
• Terminate power, control, and communication wiring
• Install cable tray, conduit, and supports
• Perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Work closely with Field Engineers and Project Management to deliver high-quality installations

Role Requirements

• Electrical Journeyman Certificate
• Valid driver's license
• Familiarity with Procore or digital construction management software considered an asset
• Industrial experience considered an asset
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Willingness to travel throughout Alberta
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with electrical heat tracing or instrumentation is an asset, but we are willing to train motivated individuals.
