All Type Electric Inc. (ATE) seeks journeyperson and apprentice electricians for Calgary and Edmonton projects in light industrial, commercial and manufacturing sectors. Positions require Alberta Journeyperson Certificate and/or Inter-Provincial designation, plus 2+ years of experience.

• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol test where required.
• Valid CSTS, Fall Arrest, First Aid, WHMIS and aerial work platform.
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Desire to progress, learn, grow and succeed.

• Install, troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems for light industrial, commercial and manufacturing sites.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to meet project timelines.
• Ensure safety and site procedures are followed on all assignments.

Job description

All Type Electric Inc. (ATE) has an immediate openings for journeyperson and apprentice electricians (2nd and 3rd years) based out of our Calgary and Edmonton offices, serving a variety of clientele in the light industrial, commercial and manufacturing markets.

The positions require the following qualifications:

• A valid Alberta Journeyperson Certificate and / or Inter Provincial designation. Indentured electrical apprentices.

• Minimum of 2years relevant experience.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

• Demonstrated problem solving, trouble shooting and analytical skills.

• Reading and interpreting blue prints, wiring diagrams and schematics.

• Openness to work on projects outside of the Edmonton and Calgary areas.

• Ability to pass pre- access drug and alcohol test. (Requirement for some clients and project sites.)

• Valid training certificates, CSTS, fall arrest, first aid, WHMIS and aerial work platform.

• Clean drivers abstract.

• The desire to progress, learn, grow and succeed.

Experience:

• Journeyman Electrician: 1-2 years (preferred)

• Indentured Electrical Apprentice (2nd and 3rd years)

• Extensive conduit experience, EMT, PVC, Steel and Aluminium Rigid

Licence/Certification:

• Journeyperson certification (required)

• Indentured electrical apprentice

• Drivers Licence (required)
