PTW Energy Services in Saskatchewan seeks an Apprentice Electrician (1st–4th year) to join our team on various construction projects. The role emphasizes safe, high-quality workmanship and meeting client needs, with a clear path for development and career growth.

The ideal candidate reads electrical drawings and schematics, supports installation and terminations, and complies with CEC and OHS standards while working flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Indentured 1st–4th year Electrical Apprentice with provincial regulatory body.
  • Familiar with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
  • Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, AWP/MEWP, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020.
  • Able to read electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
  • Strong safety focus and good communication skills.
  • Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical codes.
  • Install motors, PLCs, control circuits, conduit, wiring, and panels.
  • Support three-phase systems and motor terminations.

We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team on various construction projects in Saskatchewan. The Apprentice is a 1st–4th year Electrical Apprentice with relevant industrial or commercial experience who is committed to delivering safe, high-quality work that meets client needs. This role requires strong attention to detail, and a focus on safety, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation of industrial electrical systems
  • Interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical codes

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly wage ranging from $42.75 - $29.25, commensurate with experience and certification
  • Living Out Allowance: $200 per day
  • Travel Allowance:Travel allowance is calculated on a per-kilometerbasis
  • Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
