Aufgaben

• Explain issues and solutions to clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete service documentation including work orders and time tracking.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics for electrical equipment.
• Inspect systems and components to identify hazards and ensure codes.
• Troubleshoot equipment.
• Perform cable pulling and wire installations and terminations.
• Maintain site and service truck cleanliness and maintenance.
• Keep accurate records of hours and materials.
• Adhere to company policies and provincial electrical regulations.

We are a small electrical division within a larger welding and fabrication company in Nisku that maintains the electrical needs of the company itself as well as a small external client base in Edmonton and surrounding area. We are looking for a hard-working, committed, self-driven Journeyman commercial/residential electrician. We offer competitive wages, benefits, vehicle, and a great work environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, proposed solutions, and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
• Complete service documentation accurately, including work orders, reports and time tracking.
• Read and Interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics for electrical equipment
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, to ensure compliance with codes
• Troubleshoot equipment
• Perform cable pulling and wire installations and terminations
• Perform routine housekeeping duties on site and service truck for cleanup/maintenance
• Keep an accurate account for project assembly hours and materials
• Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and provincial electrical regulations.

Qualifications

• Commercial and residential experience is an asset
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract
• AWP experience (Preferred)
• Fall Protection/ Mobile Elevated Work Platform Certificate (Preferred)
• Experience with bending conduit (Preferred)
