Job summary

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership, a Johnson Controls subsidiary, designs and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions. The facility in Nisku, Alberta requires a qualified Journeyman Welder to fabricate prototypes and production parts from supplied drawings.

Shifts include Monday to Thursday night (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) with a rotating day shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM). You will weld with MIG, ARC, and TIG processes, supervise apprentices, and contribute to continuous

Qualifications

• Alberta Journeyman welder license or equivalent required.
• Interprovincial Red Seal or CWB tickets preferred/in progress.
• Valid GMAW/GTAW/SMAW certifications in all positions.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and welding process specs to ensure fit.
• Weld using MIG, ARC, TIG across multiple processes.
• Fabricate parts, jigs and fixtures per drawings and specs.
• Inspect, repair and retrofit parts; maintain documentation.
• Mentor/apprentice supervision and training as needed.
• Follow safety policies and work in a high-paced production environment.
