Johnson Controls is seeking a qualified electrician for our Silent-Aire operations in Nisku, Alberta. The role involves ensuring HVAC units operate correctly and pass tests, wiring connections safely, and interpreting electrical schematics.
Travel not required beyond local site, and reliable transport is needed. The ideal candidate is a Certified Journeyman Electrician (Alberta) or equivalent, with basic PLC understanding, strong reading of drawings, and good verbal and written communication.
Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson Controls. Silent-Aire is a technology driven company that designs, engineers and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions. We have openings for this role at our facilities in Nisku and Sherwood Park and you must have a reliable transportation to commute. This role will be offered to work Rotational Day Shift - (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) and Friday to Sunday Nightshift (6:00 PM - 6:00AM).
Commercial/Industrial environment. Manual dexterity required to use necessary tools. caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards. Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment). Ability to work in a safe manner by being knowledgeable and following Company safety Guidelines and expectations Perform all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code Long periods of standing.
